Man from Unionville Dies Attempting to Rescue Swimmer Monday

A man from Unionville attempted to rescue a swimmer on Monday.
The Missouri Highway Patrol reports 64-year-old Steven R. Puckett did not resurface at Forest Lake Thousand Hills State Park after leaving his pontoon boat in an attempt to rescue a swimmer Monday afternoon.
Puckett was declared dead and taken to a funeral home.
