Man Injured and Arrested in Buchanan County as Vehicle Overturns

A St. Joseph man was injured and charged in Buchanan County when his vehicle overturned.
Wednesday at 5:43 pm, the Missouri Highway Patrol reported that 38-year-old Brycen T. Mitchell had suffered moderate injuries in the accident.
Mitchell had been traveling north on Route JJ when at Route V, just south of St. Joe, his vehicle traveled off the right side of the road and began to skid on the gravel. Mitchell overcorrected and the vehicle overturned onto the driver’s side.
Following the crash, troopers arrested Mitchell on preliminary charges of driving while intoxicated and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway.
He was later released from the Buchanan County Jail.
