Man Injured in Linn County in Three Collisions

A man was injured in Linn County after three collisions in an accident.
A report from the Missouri Highway Patrol says 29-year-old Daniel L. Bowerman of New Boston, Missouri was not wearing a seat belt as he was driving on Route PP, five miles northwest of New Boston.
At the crest of a hill, he came upon 27-year-old Amanda J. Slater from Brookfield who was driving a Missouri Department of Transportation truck with a trailer. Bowerman crossed the center line and struck the mirror of Slater’s pickup. His vehicle then struck her trailer before running off the road and striking a tree.
Bowerman suffered a minor injury and was taken by private vehicle to Pershing Memorial Hospital in Brookfield.
