Man Injured when Blown Tire Causes Accident in Holt County

A man from Edgerton was injured in an accident in Holt County Wednesday.
The accident occurred at 12:30 pm according to a report from the Missouri Highway Patrol.
Twenty-five-year-old April L. Hawkins was driving with her occupant, 41-year-old Daniel S. Easley. They were in a truck pulling a trailer while heading north on I-29, south of Oregon.
The front left tire blew and the truck traveled through the median and struck the crossover. The trailer became unhitched and both it and the truck came to rest in the southbound lanes.
Easley suffered a minor injury and was taken by Holt County EMS to Mosaic Life Care.
