Man Wanted on Livingston County Child Porn Warrant Arrested In Kansas

A man wanted since last June on a Livingston County warrant for possessing child pornography was arrested Wednesday night in Kansas.

According to a release from Livingston County HSeriff Steve Cox, former Chillicothe resident 32-year-old Zachary Ryan Kerns was arrested in Johnson County, Kansas Wednesday evening on a Livingston County warrant for alleged four counts of class B felony possession of child pornography and a second Livingston COunty arrest warrant for a probation violation on an original charge of class A misdemeanor non-support.

Bond for Kerns was denied on the child pornography charges but is listed at $5,000 for the non-support charge.

Kerns was also found to have a parole warrant from the Department of Corrections and he will be extradited by the DOC. Sheriff Cox says his office will seek a writ of Kerns appearance on the charges in Livingston County.
