Maryville Man Charged in Alleged Tattoo Parlor Assault

A Maryville man faces four felony charges in Nodaway County Court.

Court documents say Richard E. Chance faces two felony charges of third-degree assault, a felony for second-degree assault, and a felony for unlawful use of a weapon.

Records list the four charges from last Wednesday.

A probable cause statement alleges Chance shot a gun and was involved in an altercation at Inque Jester Tattoo on South Main Street in Maryville.

The court denied Chance’s bond.

Chance entered a not-guilty plea and will next appear in court on October 31 at 9:00 a.m. for a bond review hearing.
