Maryville Man Injured in Nodaway County Crash Monday

A Maryville man was injured in a Nodaway County crash Monday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on Route H at 290th, five miles southwest of Maryville, when a vehicle driven by 28-year-old Maryville resident Jordan A. Burgher was heading eastbound on 290th.

Troopers say Burgher failed to stop at the stop sign at Route H and struck a southbound vehicle driven by 68-year-old Graham resident Carol J. O’Riley.

A passenger in Burgher’s vehicle, 44-year-old Stephen J. McCoy, suffered minor injuries and was taken to Mosiac Life Care in Maryville for treatment of minor injuries.

No injury information was listed for the two involved drivers.

Troopers say McCoy was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
