Maryville Woman Injured in Crash Near Pickering

A Maryville woman was injured in a Sunday evening crash in Nodaway County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on Icon Road at Ideal Road, two miles west of Pickering, when a vehicle driven by 33-year-old Leslie F. Prozzo was heading northbound.

Troopers say Prozzo lost control around a curve, went off the right side of the road, and struck the ground.

Prozzo suffered minor injuries and was taken to Mosaic, in Maryville, for treatment.

Authorities say Prozzo was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
