Maysville Awarded Grant For Study Of City’s Wastewater System

The city of Maysville has been awarded grant funding by the state to evaluate the city’s wastewater system.

The Department of Natural Resources has awarded $36,000 to Maysville to identify wastewater system improvements needed to meet permit requirements. That facility plan is expected to be completed by May of 2024. The plan is intended to identify improvements for efficiency, effectiveness, and capacity, and satisfy water quality regulations.

The Missouri Department of Natural Resources provides funding opportunities for qualified communities with water quality, wastewater and drinking water infrastructure needs. This project will be funded wholly or in part with monies received from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
