Maysville Man Hurt In Saline County Wreck Tuesday Night

A single vehicle accident Tuesday evening in Saline County has left a Maysville man with moderate injuries.

Troop A of the Highway Patrol says 35-year-old Marshall resident Patrick S. Powers was driving a 2020 Ford Fusion on King Avenue between 195th Road and Mount Olive Road at 6:50 P.M. Tuesday when the vehicle went off the right side of the roadway and struck a utility pole.

Powers was not injured in the wreck, but his passenger, 27-year-old Maysville resident Issac A. Welling, was left with moderate injuries. Welling was taken by Marshall EMS to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall for treatment.

The Highway Patrol says it is unknown if either man was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
