Maysville Teen Injured Striking Cow & Calf on Highway 6

A Maysville teen was injured in a DeKalb County crash Wednesday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on Highway 6, just west of Weatherby, when a vehicle driven by 17-year-old Emily R. Dunlap was heading eastbound.

Troopers say Dunlap struck a cow and a calf in the driving lane of the highway.

Dunlap suffered minor injuries and was taken to Mosaic in Saint Joseph for treatment.

Troopers say Dunlap was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
