MDC Hunter Education Skills Classes Scheduled in Northwest Missouri

The Missouri Department of Conservation will be offering several hunter education skills sessions in northwest Missouri.  Participants will be able to earn the safety certificate required to obtain hunting permits.

In each session, participants ages 11 years old and older will learn safe firearms handling and basic hunting skills.

Hunters ages 11 to 15 must take the free skills class in person, which requires the completion of a knowledge portion prior to attendance.  Hunters 16 and older can take the skills course online.

Sessions will be offered in Chillicothe on March 10th; Maryville on March 12th; Trenton on March 31st and Bethany on April 2nd.  To register visit the Missouri Department of Conservation online.
