MDC Offering Free Virtual Course on Handguns For Deer Hunting

A virtual class on hunting deer with handguns is coming later this month.

The Missouri Department of Conservation will offer a free virtual class on using handguns for hunting white-tailed deer from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, December 9.

This class will teach participants about the equipment and skills needed to hunt deer with a handgun.

MDC will also cover regulations for handgun hunting.

Instructors will also discuss topics such as wildlife identification, habits and habitats, safety, hunting strategies, and care of any harvested game.

This class is open to participants ages 21 and older.
