MDC Reports Late Antlerless Firearms Numbers

Preliminary data from the Missouri Department of Conservation shows deer hunters harvested 18,904 deer during the late antlerless portion of firearms deer season, December 2-10.
Top harvest counties were Callaway, with 565 deer harvested, Pike, with 513, and Lincoln, with 385.
Last year’s antlerless portion harvest total was 16,241.
The archery deer and turkey season runs through January 15.
The alternative methods portion runs from December 23 through January 2.
