Meadville Woman Left With Minor Injuries After Vehicle Hits Tire

A Meadville woman was left with minor injuries early this (Friday) morning after her vehicle hit a tire laying in the highway.

According to the accident report from the Highway Patrol, 58-year-old Meadville resident Lesa R. Neal was driving a 2010 Ford Escape westbound on U.S. Highway 36 at Livingston County Road 261 about five miles east of Chillicothe at 12:45 A.M. when she struck a stationary tire in the driving lane of the highway.

After hitting the tire the Escape went off the north side of the highway and began to rotate before returning to the roadway and coming to rest on its wheels.

Neal was reportedly wearing a seat belt at the time but still suffered minor injuries. She was taken by Livingston County Ambulance to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton for treatment.
