(Missouri Net) A confirmed case of the measles has made its way to the St. Louis area. A person who recently traveled internationally has a confirmed case of the airborne disease.

State Epidemiologist Nathan Koffarnus (ko-FARR-nus) encourages you to keep in mind vaccination recommendations if you plan to travel internationally.

Symptoms include a fever, runny nose, coughing, red eyes, sore throat and a rash starting on the face at the hairline and spreading downward to the rest of the body.
