Mercer School Board members adopted the 2021-22 budget during their June meeting held on Monday night. The district’s revenues are projected at $2.968 million. Expenditures are projected at $2.821 million. If realized, the budget would result in a net gain of $146,754.

Board members approved budget amendments for the end of the school year. A transfer of $100,000 was also approved for summer improvements to the building and grounds and to purchase Smartboards.

A concrete bid from Vernon Yoder was approved for a concrete pad at the bus barn.

The board also changed the school calendar to include a 12:40 dismissal on days of early dismissal instead of 12:30pm.
