Mercer Board Offers Two Positions Beginning In The New Year In December Meeting

Mercer School Board members approved a teaching contract and offered a paraprofessional position for the district during a meeting held Tuesday night.

Following an executive session, Princeton’s board hired Danessa Stout as a kindergarten teacher. Her contract will begin on January 2nd. Esabel Holt was hired as a paraprofessional and will begin for the district on January 2nd.

Board members approved an insurance bid from CPSK to provide property and liability insurance coverage for the district. The premium paid by the district will be $61,951. That represents a 13 percent increase over last year.

The audit report was also approved for the district. It was prepared by Conrad and Higgins, LLC.
