Mercer Motorcycle Driver Injured in Grundy County Accident

A Mercer man was injured when his motorcycle struck a mattress in the roadway in Grundy County Saturday afternoon.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 20-year old Mercer resident Jacob Graham was driving his motorcycle northbound on US 65 Highway, a half mile north of Trenton when a mattress blew out of the pickup bed of a vehicle in front of him. The truck was driven by 20-year old Mercer resident Sean Graham.

The motorcycle struck the mattress, causing it to go off the east side of the roadway, ejecting the driver.

Jacob Graham was taken to Wright Memorial Hospital with moderate injuries. Sean Graham was not injured in the accident.
