Minnesota Man Injured in Daviess County Crash Thursday

A Minnesota man suffered injuries in a Daviess County accident Thursday.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on Interstate 35, eight miles southeast of Winston, when a vehicle driven by 65-year-old Winona, Minnesota resident Scott A . Emerson was heading southbound.

Troopers say Emerson lost control on the ice covered road and struck a guardrail, private fence, and a tree.

Emerson suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Authorities say Emerson was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
