UPDATED: Authorities Discover Body of Missing Bethany Woman

HARRISON COUNTY, MO – The Harrison County Sheriff’s Department confirmed the discovery of the body of 31-year-old Allison Derwinis today.

Sheriff Trevor Place says Derwinis was located near 240th Avenue and MO-146 in rural Gilman City on Monday using cadaver canines.

Derwinis was last seen last week and was reported missing after her vehicle was discovered in rural Gilman City on Thursday.

The investigation is ongoing with assistance from the Buchanan County Sheriff’s Detective Squad, the FBI, DEA, and Bethany Police Department.
