(MISSOURINET) – Missouri businesses and agencies are competing for workers in this tight labor market, including in law enforcement.
St. Joseph Police Chief Chris Connally says the northwest Missouri department is actively recruiting, trying to fill 22 officer vacancies.
Connally says recruiting qualified applicants is always difficult and seems especially difficult now. . .
The St. Joseph Police Department has 138 commissioned officers.
