Missouri Congresswoman Cori Bush Arrested During Protest

WASHINGTON D.C. (Missourinet) Missouri Congresswoman Cori Bush is speaking out after her arrest yesterday, during a demonstration in Washington D.C.

“The sounds of Representative Cori Bush and fellow U.S. House Democrats as they protest the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe vs. Wade.  She says she’s standing for reproductive rights and the right to abortion. The congresswoman says quote “I have to do everything I can to be able to raise this issue and to make sure people know we will not stop fighting.”

The high court’s decision, which triggered a ban on nearly all abortions in our state, has been lauded by the representative’s Republican colleagues from Missouri.
