Missouri Department of Commerce and Insurance Gets “Excellent” Audit

State Auditor Scott Fitzpatrick Wednesday released an audit of the Missouri Department of Commerce and Insurance.

The department regulates the insurance industry in Missouri through the enforcement of state laws.

The audit identified no findings and gave a rating of “excellent,” the highest possible.

The previous audit of the department, released in 2022, also identified no findings and gave the same rating.
