Missouri Farm Bureau Endorses Schmitt for U.S. Senate

Missouri Farm Bureau has endorsed Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt in the general election for U.S. Senate. Schmitt will face Democrat opponent Trudy Busch Valentine in November.

Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler was endorsed by Missouri Farm Bureau in the primary election, however the bureau did support Schmitt during his campaign for Missouri Attorney General in 2020.

Missouri Farm Bureau President Garrett Hawkins called Schmitt a ‘staunch ally of rural Missourians at every level of public service.’ Hawkins further stated in the endorsement of Schmitt that ‘we need strong leaders to fight on behalf of Missouri’s farmers and ranchers against an activist administration.’

In addition to the Missouri Farm Bureau Endorsement, Schmitt is endorsed by Missouri Soybeans.
