Missouri has Online Map and Texting Option to Help Families Find Free Summer Meals for Eligible Kids

Free meals are being served to kids at hundreds of locations across Missouri this summer. An online interactive map is available to help Missouri families locate where to get the food.

The program is designed to provide breakfast, lunch, and/or snacks to kids living in eligible areas during the summer months and during public emergencies when they don’t have access to free or reduced-price school meals. Kids do not have to register and there is no fee to participate.

To find the map, Google Missouri Summer Food Service Program. For families without access to the internet, summer meal sites in the area can also be found by texting the phrase “Summer Meals” to 97779.
