Missouri Highway Patrol Arrests Man for Felony in Andrew County

The Missouri Highway Patrol arrested a man in Andrew County.
Tuesday at 4:14 pm, 31-year-old Keith L. Yount of St. Joseph was arrested for four counts of felony failure to register as a sex offender according to the arrest report.
Court documents from 2008 say that Keith Lynn Yount pleaded guilty to a charge of felony first-degree statutory rape involving sexual intercourse with a person less than 14 years old. Yount was sentenced to 10 years.
After this recent arrest, he was taken to the Andrew County Jail for a 24-hour hold pending formal charges.
