Missouri House Health Committee Chairman Says Former DHSS Director Williams Did a Fine Job

The Missouri House Health and Mental Health Policy Committee chairman is praising former state health director Dr. Randall Williams, who resigned Tuesday. Bolivar GOP State Representative Mike Stephens tells Missourinet that Dr. Williams did a fine job:

Chairman Stephens says Dr. Williams never intended to stay in the position permanently, adding that his understanding is that Dr. Williams’ wife never moved to Jefferson City from North Carolina. Stephens also praises acting state health director Robert Knodell, saying he knows and understands the bureaucracy.
