Missouri is First in Nation for Lowest Positivity Rate this Week

As of this week, Missouri is number 1 in the nation for the lowest COVID positivity rate.  Governor Parson at a mega vaccination event Thursday at St. Louis Community College Forest Park.

Eighteen thousand people are expected to get their first shots — over a three day period in the St. Louis area.

Parson had some other good news:

Our-seven day positivity rate is below 4 percent, its been a long time since we’ve seen those numbers and it continues to be challenging. Just a couple of weeks ago we passed the two million plateau of doses administered in the state.

Governor Parson says about 18-thousand Missourians will be vaccinated between today and Saturday at Forest Park Community College, the St. Charles Family Arena and at Queeny Park. Governor Parson is URGING RESIDENTS TO BRING THEIR PHOTO ID AND THE REGISTRATION NUMBER THEY WERE PROVIDED, saying it’s crucial.
