Missouri Is On A Mission To Help First Responders Heal From Frontline Traumas

(MISSOURINET) – Missouri is on a mission to help the state’s first responders heal from frontline traumas. Javier (HAWVEE-air) Bustos (BOO-stoas), with Warrior’s Rest Foundation, says Missouri provides free peer support training to law enforcement, firefighters, emergency medical services, dispatchers, and public safety chaplains. He says the key to resilience is first responders being first responders to the other boots on the ground in times of need…
Free in-person classes are offered several times a year in a variety of Missouri cities, with one coming up May 31 in Weldon Spring, near St. Louis.
