Missouri Launches Statewide Transportation Guide for Missourians who Need a Ride to Get COVID Vaccination

Missouri has rolled out a new statewide transportation guide for Missourians who need a free or low-cost ride to get a COVID-19 vaccination.

The new “Get a Ride” guide is intended to increase access to free and low-cost transportation to get the coronavirus vaccination. Sara Hart Weir is with the Missouri Advisory Committee on Equitable COVID Vaccine Distribution. She says a significant number of older adults, people with disabilities, and low-income individuals who are at higher risk of getting the virus don’t have transportation to get to vaccination sites. “Get a Ride” is available on the state’s COVID-19 hotline and by going to MOstopsCovid.com. The resources can be customized by location.
