Missouri Law Bars 19-year-old from Attending Father’s Pending Execution

(MISSOURINET) –  Kevin Johnson is set to be executed one week from today (Tues Nov 29th), and his 19-year-old daughter wants to witness his execution. But she’s being forbidden to do so because Missouri law only allows people age 21 and older to witness the execution of a family member. A hearing with a federal judge was held Monday to grant 19-year-old Khorry Ramey’s request to attend her father’s execution. A decision is expected by Friday.
