Missouri Lawmaker Working to Ensure Taxpayer Money is Not Invested in Russia

(MISSOURINET) – As Vladimir Putin’s deadly attack on Ukraine continues, at least one Missouri lawmaker says our state needs to make sure taxpayer money is not being used to support any part of Russia nor its allies.
Majority Floor Leader Dean Plocher’s House Bill 29-13 would prohibit public money from going to any country that occupies or attacks any NATO member country or ally.
