Missouri Man and Child Killed in Collision with Train

An adult and a child were killed when their pickup was struck by a train in Randolph County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident took place just before 10 o’clock Wednesday morning.

53-year old Kenneth Higbee drove onto the railroad crossing one half mile south of Clark where it was struck by a northbound Norfolk Southern Train.

Campbell and a 9-year old boy who was a passenger in the pickup were pronounced dead at the scene. A 12-year old boy was taken to University Hospital with serious injuries.
