Missouri Needs More Foster Homes for the 13,500 Kids in the State’s Care

(MISSOURINET) – Missouri has more than 13,500 kids in foster care. Missouri Children’s Division director Darrell Missey says the need for more foster homes is drastic. The state has about five-thousand foster homes to care for these children.

Missey says a lack of foster homes often leads to splitting up siblings. To become a foster parent, call the Missouri Children’s Division.
