Missouri Officially Has A Total Ban On Texting While Driving

(MissouriNet) Missouri has officially banned texting while driving for all of those behind the wheel in the state.

However, the new law is a secondary offense, which means law enforcement cannot pull over drivers solely for suspecting a driver is texting.

Governor Mike Parson weighs in on whether the law should be a primary offense.

Drivers can still use their voice-activated or hands-free options to text or call.
