Missing Person Alert Announced For Grant City Woman

A Missing Person Alert has been put out by the Be United Missing Persons organization for a missing Grant City woman. The alert indicates Melissa Chapman was last contacted on Sunday, August 23rd. It also indicates that her vehicle was found abandoned in Mount Ayr with her cell phone found inside the vehicle. She is described as 5’3″ with brown hair and brown eyes.
The Creston Police Department also advised that Chapman was a long-term Creston resident and has contacts in the area.
Those with information regarding the alert are urged to contact the Worth County Sheriff’s Office.
