Missouri Regional Teachers Of The Year Selected

The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education announced the 34 teachers selected to be 2021 Missouri Regional Teachers of the Year.
The teachers were selected by committees established in Missouri’s 10 Regional Professional Development Centers.
The list includes Maryville Middle School STEM instructor Rebecca Wynne and French instructor Corinne Russell of the St Joseph Central School District. They are the selected instructors representing the Northwest Regional Professional Development Center. Lawson history instructor Joe Koeberl is also one of the Regional Teachers of the Year from the Central RPDC.
The Regional Teacher of the Year program began in 2016, in an effort to celebrate outstanding teachers from all areas of the state. Semifinalists and finalists for the 2021 Missouri Teacher of the Year award will be selected in August, with the 2021 Missouri Teacher of the Year being named in early September.
