Missouri School Choice Advocates Rally at State Capitol

JEFFERSON CITY, MO (Missourinet) Some Missouri students and parents have been at the state Capitol this week to gather support for alternatives to learning in traditional public schools. Ade  Pius of Jefferson City, says an online learning model works well for her son, who has hearing problems.

During this National School Choice Week, Pius says she wants the Missouri Legislature to make it easier for students to access virtual education. Current law requires the local school district to decide if a student should learn remotely.
