Missouri Secretary of State John Ashcroft released findings from an investigation regarding individuals alleged to have voted more than once in the 2020 general election.
Two St. Charles County individuals are accused of voting at least twice using mail-in ballots sent to Florida, and then again in person in Missouri.
Ashcroft is encouraging the legislature to pass strong election changes to deter and eliminate voter fraud. Secretary Ashcroft said he believes there is a greater possibility of voter fraud when in-person ballots are not used. He also supports strong voter identification requirements to ensure fair and accurate voting across the state.
The individuals accused of voter fraud have been referred to the St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney for charges.
