Missouri SOS Estimates 70 Percent Voter Turnout On Election Day

Missouri Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft called the general election in Missouri Tuesday a success and thanked voters, election officials, and poll workers.

Unofficial results indicated 70% of the nearly 4.3 million registered Missouri voters participated in the general election.

Local election authorities now have two weeks after the election to report their certified results to the Secretary of State, and the Secretary’s office must certify state results by December 8th.
