Missouri State Fair Announces Opening Night Grandstand Entertainment

The band behind “Juke Box Hero” and “Cold As Ice” will open the Missouri State Fair’s concert lineup this summer as part of their farewell tour.  Fair officials announced Monday morning that Foreigner will headline opening night at this year’s fair, playing the Grandstand presented by CFM Insurance on August 8th.  Foreigner’s Farewell Tour began last year with the goal to revisit every city they’ve played since coming back together in 2004.  Opening for Foreigner will be Maggie Rose.

Tickets for the Missouri State Fair’s grandstand concert series will go on sale the morning of May 21st through Etix.  The 122nd Missouri State Fair takes place August 8th through the 18th.
