A new statewide task force has gotten down to business on finding ways to improve services for Missouri’s sexual assault victims and to better respond to these cases. The 13-member task force is made up of members of the state Legislature, law enforcement, health care, and child welfare communities. State Senator Holly Rehder (Ray-derr), a Republican from southeast Missouri’s Scott City, is a member.
The task force has held one of four online listening sessions. The next session is September 14 and can be viewed by searching online for Missouri sexual assault task force.
