Missouri Turkey Harvest Slightly Outpaces 2021

According to telecheck numbers, Missouri reported 33,355 turkeys harvested in the Spring Turkey Season. That figure would be about 1,500 birds over 2021. It would be well off the 38,734 turkey taken during the height of the COVID-19 season in 2020. Josh Roller is with the Missouri Department of Conservation and has some of the local numbers.
When added to the Youth Spring Turkey Season totals, Missouri harvested 36,251 according to telecheck numbers. That figure would also be about the same pace ahead of the 2021 harvest.
