Missouri’s Ethanol Industry Ready to Help Ease Pain at Gas Pump

(Missourinet) Renewable fuels supporters say expanding access to 15-percent ethanol gas could help bring down prices at the pump. Missouri Corn Growers Association C-E-O Bradley Schad says the state’s six ethanol plants produce more than 300 million gallons annually and could ramp up production if needed:

Schad says the E-P-A could lift some regulations and allow the sale of E-15 during the summer months. Gas prices were already on the rise before the U-S ban on Russian oil.
