(Missourinet) Missouri’s farmers and ranchers are trying to recover from 2022’s drought, this summer’s drought, and the extreme heat.
It’s having a compound effect resulting in widespread selloffs or slaughter of livestock.

For the livestock who are left, the extreme heat has also resulted in decreased production because of heat stress.
