(MISSOURINET) – A Missouri Senate committee gets down to business today (Monday) on evaluating the system responsible for reviewing and accrediting K-12 public school districts.
State Senator Karla Eslinger, a Republican from southern Missouri’s Wasola (wa-SO-la), is the chair of the Missouri Senate Interim Committee on Education.
She says there are three things the committee will focus on.
Today’s hearing, at the Missouri Capitol, will only include testimony from K-12 public education commissioner Margie Vandeven (van-DEE-ven) and possibly other education department leaders.
