Mizzou Researchers say Unsecured Debt could have an Effect on Your Health.

Researchers are now telling us that unsecured debt from credit cards could have an effect on our health.
Researchers from the University of Missouri cite analysis of data from The US Bureau of Labor Statistics. They examined the financial health of nearly 8000 Baby Boomers from age 28 to 40, as well as their physical health at age 50.
The most common trend found was that people who carried the debt over time experienced worse physical health later in life. Researchers are hoping changes to stagnant wages and other circumstances will keep people from needing to take on unsecured debt.
