MO Hits COVID-19 Vaccination Milestone

The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services says more than three million Missourians have completed their COVID-19 vaccine series. The milestone comes after a COVID-19 vaccine incentive program called MO VIP.

In July, Governor Mike Parson announced that 900 Missourians who have – or will choose to be vaccinated – will win cash or education savings account prizes in the amount of $10,000. In total, nearly 67-thousand adults and minors were vaccinated and entered to win.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention still rates Missouri’s community transmission rate as “high.”
