Mo PSC Approves Evergy Application For Rate Title Changes For Time-of-Use Program

The Missouri Public Service Commission has approved the amended application of Evergy Missouri Metro and Evergy Missouri West for tariff revisions to its Time-of-Use Program.

The request receiving approval changed the default Time-Of-Use rate from the high differential Standard Park Saver to the low differential Peak Adjustment Rate, also known as the Peak Reward saver. In the application, Evergy sought to change the name of those rates. Those rates will now be called the Summer Peak Time Based Plan and the Default Time Based Plan. Those changes are expected to take affect on October 8th.

Customers will be allowed to select from different rate plans based upon personal preference and can change their choices at any time.

The amended application does not change the price per kWH which had previously been approved by the commission in the original TOU plan.
